(Spike, and Spike and Emily cat)
So, in the dark I put on the boots and the winter coat and hat and take the dogs out, BUT the snow is gone and it is MILD out there, 52! Yahoo, bring it on APRIL! We might get a ton of snow this month, but ....it is APRIL.
I was a volunteer at SPCA last spring and summer, and for weeks I tried to convince people to take the nicest cat of all the hundreds of cats home, Spike. In August light dawned, and we brought him home, and he is the best. We kept the shelter name because it is funny. Our vet said at the time 'he's about 3 and a half, so his birthday will be April 1' and there you go, Spike's birthday is April Fool's day. Happy fourth birthday Spike!

That first picture of spike is puuuuuuuurfectly cute - actually all are, but that one with him so close up you can't even see ear, adorable.
