(CM's niece 'Superbaby')
Dreamt that me and the missus were at a party and two babies decided to adopt us. A two year old and one year old. They were cute alright, but it really changed our life.
Nightmare!

Kids live longer than pets. Eventually, they want to borrow the car, too.

What a scary dream! Did you wake up in a cold sweat?

Oh, come now. They're really not so bad. :-)

funny how in my dream these were babies capable of talking and making adult decisions, like they wanted us to be their parents---I should mention here that the missus is nearly 50, and we would not be having any ourselves...

We got a puppy to "practice" our parenting skills. We though if we could keep that alive, we would probably be ok as parents.

I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks later!!

There still both alive and well. Just a little smelly(well, the dog). :)

Yeah, he cost over a thousand bucks, and we had to drive to Virginia to bring him home. He barfed the way home.

HP, that is (sorry) funny! My SIL got a cute puppy once --although cheaper than yours-- and it also barfed the entire 3 hours back to their place. So they named him Chuck. He never did outgrow the upchucking habit in the car. Gross.

Well, mine is name Allister, andhe doesn't barf anymore..........unless he chooses to eat a mouse or something.........YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Babies are a lot of work. But if you don't have babies who's going to gang up on you when it comes time to put you in a nursing home?
