photo challenge: ERA and SHINY

(Jack and 3 piggy mugs by Gary Rith)
So, Tink's photo challenge was a bit of a (HA!) challenge. I mean, ERA? Equal Right's Amendment, laundry detergent, a time period, or.....earned run average????
Baseball season is here, and earned run average is an important statistic. Jack may be old at 12 and a half, somewhat infirm and not everything mentally he once was, but he is a runner and a retriever still. Jack walks 2-3 times a day plus chases his ball across the yard hundreds of times. I'd say Jack's daily earned run average is probably 5 miles or more. Although born in Massachusetts, Jack knows he is a New Yorker now, a Yankee.
My new dark cobalt blue glaze is quite shiny, wouldn't you agree? Shiny was easy, Tink.

Excellent pictures Gary. I am in awe of your pottery skill. What a good dog to sit so quietly to get his picture taken.

Great photo of Jack, all shiny and patient! The rug under him is showing cups from another era too. Very clever.

That blue is incredible!

thanks! I'd say he was patient, and wearing a hat!

Well, as soon as I saw the word "shiny", I knew that with all your lovely artwork, you were all set for this week! But your dog's coat - WOW - what a shiny cutie! That was a bonus!
