...in other news.....

I was reading about blogging in yesterday's NY Times, the actual PAPER paper, and I can't find the article online now and I got bored looking for it, but anyway, it was about blogging. I am an expert at blogging, as is every other person who blogs. The thrust of the article was a) blog what you know! and b) don't try to be too polished.
Well! That would be potsblog. I am a visual artist and this thing is my scrapbook. I was explaining to Kim the other day, who has noticed that I post A LOT that I have to hold myself back. And that as of Tuesday, I had the next four days mostly plotted out. But it is true, if I worked at K!nkos, every day you would get pics of me, the cooler, the copy machine, the colored papers....as for not being too polished, well, potsblog is certainly a daily work in progress.
As for dreams. Well, Jack was sick here in the early morning hours, our elderly black lab with epilepsy, but I had been sleeping beautifully before he woke me. I had dreamt a horrible dream though, where I was a survivor of a ferry trip in a remote spot and when I got back to civilization I was desperate to get help for any other missing survivors...I am better off awake and blogging, I think.

But then when would you have the time to do the rest of the stuff you do so well? You've got an absolutely great mix with the right amounts of all the 'stuff' that goes on around you. If it ain't broke, etc.,!

P.S. I like the picture of Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield. I don't know J.M. so well, but Sophia Loren is one of my favorite actresses. And I am a big fan of the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in which Jayne Mansfield's daughter, Mariska Hargitay, co-stars. Mariska looks a lot like her mom.
