RAT!

Some lowlife rat bastard nearly got me with a phish scam, dangit. NEARLY!!!! Tried to log in to_________ and it looks legit of course but then it started asking me for _________________. The appropriate agency was contacted and jumped on it, my acct. was not hacked, nothing lost apparently, and I am changing all my accts and passw*rds. Gord warns of this stuff every day.....
I am furious and I hate Bulgarians.

yeah there are a lot of legit looking emails out there asking to go to a proper looking site and log into your account... I ignore every single one of them. Legit ones will never ask for your password as I understand it..

Good thing you were able to notice before got finished dude!

I'm constantly amazed at the trouble that these people go through to make the emails look so real. They're very, very good.

Best practice for emails from your bank: don't click on the link, but go the bank's web site manually.

Oooh, yeah! If I want info I go there and ask for it. If THEY want info, they do NOT get it. Getit?
But then, I smell rats even when none exist. It's too scary to think of having to spend the rest of my days trying to prove I'm really ME!
