a cause for excitement!!!

(pots by Gary Rith, Penny and Emily cat with the remains of the formerly stuffed flat cat)
Excitement? All of the comments just below foreign and domestic, thanks to the photo challenge. I will wade through and visit all the new blogs shortly.
Double excitement? The two great glaze firings this week: my own, which produced a load of lovely things, like the blue teapot here, and the one at Cornell which produced the elephant teapot (etc) below plus these little frog jugs.
Exciting? Well, Jack, our old black lab, seemed sick last night but he is OK now.
Excitement! Denis' lady friend Kim came over yesterday and we went out blah blah blah...yay.
More Excitement? Greg and Suzette are driving down from Canada on Friday: BLOG READERS! You can do what CM, Kate and Jim, Tracy and so many others have done! Come for a visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
more excitement please....time to brew another dash of espresso, liquid excitement if ever there was such a thing...

Love the new blue teapot - cool shape - especially the handle. But, what does thrown and re-assembled mean, exactly? You mentioned in a comment to me that the teapot's handle was hand-thrown and re-assembled...

Ummm. Gary. I've been looking at this blue teapot some more. I think I told you that I love and collect teapots. This blue one seems to be calling my name...IF you were willing to sell it, how many cups does it hold (it's hard to tell the size from a photo) and could you email me about the price - it's not listed in your "shop". Thing is, the handle is so very cool...the shape of the teapot is just wonderful, and the color is perfect for my kitchen - by which I mean I could leave it on display all the time when it wasn't in use. I love this shade of blue, and my kitchen reflects that!It would also get used a lot, however, because I drink a lot of tea. Anyway, let me know. If you want to keep this one, maybe you could make me another one just like it? btw, I saw the etsy "request a custom item", but since the teapot I'm talking about is pictured above, I thought it would be easier to ask you here than trying to describe it on the etsy form...if you want me to go through etsy to order, just tell me what to call the teapot so you'll know what I'm talking about.
