le canard: inspired by Cheri and Laura

(duck bowl being made and then finished by Gary Rith)
Cheri bought a cow bowl and said her daughter Laura likes ducks, what can I do?
I thought about it, and decided to see what I could make. I took an ordinary bowl, pulled it ovoid, then added feet and the rest.
Quack!

Ducks, too. Funny, canard is also a word used to refer to a tall tale. We all know you're a pro at those. :-)

Wow, that is totally awesome! How cute. Can't wait to see the finished result. You do HAVE to take a picture once it is colored and out of the kiln.
