many more mugs and a petite haiku

(mugs and haiku by Gary Rith)

Runny, drippy nose
Sneezes, coughs, stuffy misery
Coffee wakefulness.
This is how the west was won: a strong brew moves the man.

St. John's wort and echinacea, lots of water and citrusy stuff, plenty of rest. That'll be $75 and I believe you have my address.
Sign me, Dr. ml
On a serious note, I don't know how you manage to keep churning out the excellent work like that, but I sure am glad!

I do catch a lot of colds. At least one a month. You should have seen how much my nose ran during the ten years I was a teacher. Working at home, however, who cares what my nose is doing? Not allergies, btw.
Check's in the mail, thanks Mary Lee!

We have this wonderful stuff up here called Cold-FX. It's actually medically proven to help prevent and shorten any colds that you do catch.

Great stuff and Canadian, too. Biffy claims it doesn't work for him, but who listens to him, anyway?

Yeah, I have heard you have codeine without a prescription, too. And other stuff, green and smokeable, is legal and so is women going topless. Anything goes in Canada, eh?

Nothing worse than a warm weather cold...

I always eat the spiciest Thai food I can get---that seems to help.

Well, now, Kate, I wasn't always this old, and sort of felt obligated to see what things were all about and find out what it was I was fighting having a son in the midst of trying everything, well, you know. it's Amazing how much flushing it takes to get rid of the evidence, though. And he never knew!

The "long green" (as a neighbour calls it) is still illegal, Gary. Sorry.

Codeine cough-syrup is the most amazing stuff. We even have Claritin without a prescription! ;-)
