blue bowlies

(bowls by Gary Rith)

I have been using this dark blue everywhere and you can see the fun things that happen when I swirl a second glaze onto the inside. oooh lala!

OK, 2 cute pet videos below.

I am thinking about taping some pottery making secrets later. Hopefully no potters will check in tomorrow looking for those secrets.

Superb glazing, Gary. I have a plate (abt 10 inches across) from a guy in California with much the same technique but yours seems brighter and more gutsy.

Oh! Pretty!

Thanks. People always say the pots look much better in person. I am a terrible early morning photographer, but you get the general idea.

Oh, why do you insist on torturing me like that! Now I'm suffering from a really awful case of the "I wants", again!!!

Your little bowl, ML, was the first to use the dark blue and swirly other glaze inside.

I LOVE that dark blue! It'd look good mixed with vibrant yellow too!

Trade secrets would be good!
