What? Not in the mood for piggies? Someone take that man's temperature.

I have a sudden and equal hankering for pots that are somewhat wild all on their own, sans pig etc.

They are most splendid pots, Gary. For years now I've been buying mugs and stuff from a certain provider of semi-disposable Scandinavian furniture. These could persuade me to look elsewhere. :-)

You should look HERE John, early and often.

That burgundy red glaze is gorgeous! If I buy a pot, does the recipe come with it?? :) (seriously,I have given up on chrome/tin red glazes. I never seem to get anything kin to red. Grays, greens, but no reds. I decided to stick with celadons and whites)

I will say this Ellen: whenever my wife asks a question I don't want to answer I start singing Minnie Ripperton's 'Loving you is easy 'cause you're beautiful....lalala, lalala, doo doo doo, ahhhhh ahhhhhh!!!!!!'

Oh wow!...those burgundy items are absolutely wonderful! The bowls are stunning! The color is just right. I've a passion for bowls. Don't know why, but it's my thing. I showed this post to Jim and he was amazed at how beautiful they were. When he gets better, (or not) sometime late this summer, we agreed, we're taking a ride! We've got a friend in Ithaca who we haven't seen for a few years. Have friends in Rome too. We'll make a point to stop and see your pottery.

PS: Penny is just adorable. When I was a kid (many moons ago in the 50's) we had an English Setter named Penny. (Penelope)
