A haiku for my beagle Penny

(Pop Art Penny by my niece)

Soft brown puppy ears
Sweet liquid eyes beg for treats
Sharp teeth chew curtains

I think you caught her in only 17 syllables!

I used poetic license. They were blinds, not curtains, but curtains fits.

and how could anyone chastise such a lovable creature?

no kidding--and if you go to tell her 'no, don't chew the curtains' she rolls over on her back and wags her tail...impossible to be angry with a little dog like that--she is 98 percent good which is very good indeed

Awww. Beagles are so cute. Love those ears!

Now see if a dog rolled over like that for me, I'd be all goo and love. As a matter of fact, when my kids get all cute and make those big I'm sorry eyes and kiss me I do the same.
