break in the action

Mid-way through glazing. What would winter be without a few head colds?

Haven't had one yet! Touch wood. I thought this post was going to be about all the stuff that broke! Guess you couldn't call it a scratch and dent sale....can't think of one right now! A You-Glue Sale??!!!

One of my guys has bronchitis and my sinuses are a little stuffy. I'm having a toddy every night in hopes of getting rid of it before it fully arrives.

Mother of: MY SECRET (shhhhhh!) is to glaze first then assemble. So yeah, some things here are not put together until they go into the kiln. Oddly, although it is very rare for stuff to break, the unicorn pot cracked in the first firing--it may have been a little wet. The unicorn himself is fine, so I have to make him a new jar this afternoon.
