Mrs. Potsblog rocks on
So, last week br says it is time for some Led Zeppelin. He has a point. They of course played long before MTV, but there are concert clips out there. Is Led Zeppelin more important than the Beatles??? No. But they did mark that big turning point that led to hard rock and heavy metal. As a matter of fact, Rolling Stone magazine first used that term to describe the band (although it had been used in a line of Steppenwolf's 'Born to be wild' before that '...heavy metal thunder'). So, Mrs. Potsblog models my Zep concert t-shirt, and here is a live 'Whole lotta love' which is OK, and 'Kashmir' which is quite AWESOME.

Hey that's my face up there! No more modeling for you when you're acting all mysterious
oh, mysterious am I?
Rock on, Maude! WHoooo!
Gary, you'll notice she referred to you as "acting mysterious". There's a subtle difference. :-)
Let's say you're married to a blogger and they say 'hey, put this on and let me get a picture'. What might they be up to? My wife is an innocent and trusting person, and I am a little sneaky.
\m/
party on, cm...
With bloggers, you gotta assume they are blogging everything!
Mrs. Pottersblog you look great.
A little Zeppelin goes a long way!
gary obviously cannot be trusted! but sometimes that's a good thing. afterall, that's a great photo of the mrs. besides, our favorite potter is never malevolent! so --
mrs. pottersblog indeed rocks & for mr. potter, rock on!
See, Missus Potsblog, you have fans of your own.
Seeing as this is supposed to be a family blog, I'll refrain from commenting on your request to Missus. ;-)
wow, thats a great response to an off hand comment about one of my favourite bands (second only to the Beatles of course). I'll be carefull not to go mentioning bands all willie-nillie in the future - hey, that reminds me of the little willies, oh never mind.
Gordo.....
Well, Br, perhaps we shall rage against the machine Tuesday.
looking forward to raging with you. Your comment invoking the sacred name of the Beatles caused me to 'youtube' the apple rooftop concert - 3 parts - awesome stuff. "I've got a feeling" is brilliant.
no way!
but listen, good stuff up Tuesday, ratm, oh yes.
Robert Plant...Oooohhhh....
I mean, back in the old days...he looks like a dried up apple now. (Sorry, Robert...try some Oil of Olay, huh?)
this clip of kashmir is vunderbar!
