whoa, this is the real thing!

Who is this lady, with the skillful unicorn mug and even a trilobite mug? All kidding aside, there is some awesome work here.

Ok, we'll let that one slide.

it looks like it was made from a mold.

Did you see those three-legged chalices? Now those are cool...uh I mean almost as cool as your stuff. :-) You know instead of cowbow boots you could make some moon boots to throw back a large quantity of hot chocolate to go with all this snow.

Those 3-legged chalices are seriously creepy.

And I was kidding about trilobytes! Yikes. A trilobyte was the most ridiculous thing I could think of to put on a mug.

Deis is right, they look molded.

if you read the description of how the trilobyte is made, she says that she carves it first and then makes a mold from the carving and then wraps it (?). I don't know a lick about pottery but it sounds fine to me.

Yep, I saw that afterwards. Not really my cup of tea. HA!

It is her carving, and my new pal br is most intelligent. I think that is a hell of a job of carving. What this means is she does not use a wheel, as I do, but carves a flat mold, rolls out a thin slab onto the mold and presses it, then rounds it into a mug. Handmade, but different style from me.

yo.

Well, I am with Gordo. I am not a fan of a trilobyte on a mug, nor the style of her creations. On a wheel for me.

Boot mugs. What can I say. Not my cup o' tea to blatantly copy Gordo.
