wherein the dog goes on my arm and my hand

(Buster and Jack)
So the vet says 'you need to get a sample from Jack'. I figured you sort of hold a little tub down there and voila! Ready for the laboratory. Kate and Jim warned me to wear bags on my arm, and lucky they did.
So there I am out there in my pajamas in snow and DARK following Jack around and then he lifts his leg and I jump in, and he coats my (covered) arm and hand, and I try to readjust and...manage to get a little something for the vet.
Thanks Kate and Jim, the next round is on me.

Oh, why can I not stop laughing! And I do wish Maude had been there, camera in hand, to preserve it all for posterity. Although, the mind does do a splendid job of imagining it. Most of all, I hope all that effort and the indignities on both sides will perhaps produce something helpful for that sweet old Jack.

I'm with ML. That's a grand mental image to start my day out with. :-D

Fingers are crossed.
