(Emily, Mr Potsblog and Spike, repeat)
Very little of importance happens at potsblog. It seems that at times there is also very little pottery.
THIS is important. I grabbed this odd little chair off the curb last night while driving along. It didn't have strange smells or stains, so here it is. I asked the missus 'what do you do with an easy chair 8 inches off the ground?' and she answered with the obvious:_________
In other news, Spike is unbelieveably friendly and has been with us 4 months or so. HOWEVER, he is not usually a lap cat. I don't think anybody had a lap for him back when he was a stray. Therefore, I am training him to keep my lap warm. He is enormous, and welcome on a cold day.

I never ceases to amaze me what people throw out. What a disgusting society we live in. Great find!
I know it is an adult's chair, but sort of an odd thing, less than half as high off the floor as it should be.
And nobody should have thrown out Spike or Emily cats either........
wow.. what a great find and with character too!.. hmm maybe it was cut down for a kid? do the legs look cut? want new legs? we've got legs up here ;)
Free furniture is the best kind, and lap cats are also the best kind.
we are having a training session this evening and it is hard to type over him
We thought what Greg thought, perhaps the legs have been cut down.
Does Greg still have wooden bowls???
I've got legs. And I know how to use 'em.
I have a cat who refuses to be a lap cat - unless he is scared. Then he finds a lap tolerable. We tried to train him to be a lap cat, but it was a lesson in futility. Good luck with Spike.
no, the legs are as they should be--just an odd little chair
yeah, Greg has wooden bowls, maybe I'll give you his email?
kate & jim - I'll be back to making them in the new year fer sure eh!... busy with xmas now and didn't plan on having any extra stock at this time. More details here:

There we go celeste - good suggestion for music of the day today! ZZTOP
That little chair of yours is really something else. It was what caught my eye first thing. Very pretty and i can't imagine just putting it out on the curb. Lucky chair to find such a good home.
The ZZTop also brought back some memories. Billy Gibson was a sort of neighbor when I lived in Houston. I didn't know him, but the guy I was dating did.
