home again home again, ziggity zag

So I zig zagged across central and eastern NY, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts yesterday in 13 and a half hours. With some artful shortcuts I did make it in a little less than 700 miles. I dropped off pots near our old house in New Hampshire, and picked up clay in western Mass. More on all that later.
I felt like a ghost going back to the old neighborhood. I don't go back to things easily I guess, always looking ahead.
Gorgeous weather and leaves, probably one of the prettiest drives in all of the US, across southern VT and NH and through western Mass.

I love VT & NH. I have to get back down there one of these decades ... LOL

John's right, but don't let it go to your head.
