gnome throne

You can see how that went. Spike ends up in the throne. Our dogs and cats tend to move from one comfy sleep spot to another.
This is the odd little lounge chair we found on the street the other day. It is a somewhat delightful little chair. The legs are meant to be this size, and I saw in a homes magazine the other day adult chairs 8 inches off the ground. I don't know whose bright idea it is, BUT I imagine using this chair in an international photoshoot. Here's me in the chair at Niagara, here's the missus in the chair at the statue of liberty....
Yes, I am working on some interesting things in the studio, pics later!

I love this sequence! Cars rule dogs drool! Cats always try to fit themselves into boxes even if they're size 5 shoe boxes! Then, they play King of the Castle and find the highest spot. I have an antique "Queen Anne" chair and princess Socks at my house has claimed it. Mooky is banned from it and has to live among the peasants far below!

Very cool idea about the chair gary! .. zette thinks chairs like that could also have been baby feeding chairs? time for more research?

Excellent road-trip idea, Gary! The Arrogant Worms have a CD called Russell's Shorts. The notes are filled with pictures of the guys in various places with these shorts. I'll have to dig up and MP3 or 10 ... LOL

Greg, I think that's a slipper chair. I think. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember the "what is this?" column in the back of the ROM's magazine recently regarding a similar chair. Must wiki.

Ok, nothing in wiki, but I did find this. No picture, though.

Ah, yes! That's what I was dredging around all over the place for in the furrows of my brain -- a slipper chair! Or one of those dainty little chairs that sit in front of m'lady's dressing table or vanity, but I rejected that since it seemed too low. And, yes, Greg's right. That is a very handsome barrister's bookcase, as well. I'd been admiring it. Very nice.

the darn thing is really comfortable and the dogs like that you sit down with them, nose to nose

That chair is adorable. And of course, so are the pets.
