FULL FRONTAL NUD!TY: N$FW!!!!!

(Gnaked gnome couple by Gary Rith)
My wife asked me what got into to me today...well, I had never made a gnome before, and today these were my first, the rude gentleman below the second.
This is a family friendly blog, read by my elderly parents and my impressionable young niece, and I may have crossed the line here. I will probably not be getting any Christmas presents.

Oh, gracious! I am laughing so hard I probably will not be able to go to sleep now. The red x's are just too much! Surely, Gary, your family is more forgiving than to give you a stocking of coal just because you were trying to figure out the anatomy of a gnome!

I am realizing that humanish characters give us possibilities that pigs and elephants don't.
No. My parents would not be forgiving. But since I am 41, some people might say that it shouldn't matter what they think.

This could be a whole new line of pottery for you. "The Naked Gnome Series". Sure beats the tar out of that Roaming Gnome Travelocity guy.

I'll take one of each.

Big surprise, Celeste. Were you going to put them in you front yard?????

"love is" couple after growing up? I think you are off to a great start as well!

I know I'll be ordering in the future.

Hi ho hi ho its off to work I go..

I believe that is dwarves, not gnomes that sing hi ho hi ho...

gary rith said...

you can't have 7 gnomes?

Gordo said...

Do gnomes sing?

No, gnomes are reclusive. They may have a spouse, but they do not live in houses with seven other gnomes like dwarves. Sorry.

It has just crossed my mind that maybe you should make duplicates of each gnaked gnome, one plain and the exact same ones wearing that modesty "X" as part of the glaze? Reminds me of touring the Vatican statuary collection, where it seemed that every single nude was fig=leaf-clad, and idly wondering who had the fig leaf concession. I'd been told that some prude had insisted this be done. But here the buyer would have an option, the shy and modest gnomes, or the bold and brazen?
