The neighbor's have a tree rooted on their land, 99 percent hanging over mine, including my car and my house and the fence too. It fell over last night, noisily hitting the roof and scraping down the side, but there my not be any damage to house, car, fence or anything else!

Eeek! Over here in jolly old England my advice would be to notify your insurers anyway, to avoid complications should a claim arise at some later date. Glad no harm was done.
It all worked out OK.
