So, my calendar page fired nicely. I have to arrange the tiles carefully on a nice piece of paper and get a shot for the printer to use, but you get the idea here. Thanks to all of you for suggestions such as 'in like a lion out like a lamb', and the sadly too late Mary Lee idea of putting the days at thetop. Ooops! Missed that one.

That looks fantastic :)
very cleverly done!
thank you!
and you can do a whole series yourself and print your own calendars!
No, Grego! Ceramic perpetual calendars! A bunch of tiles, month headers and day tiles and well the things as are!
Maybe I will make tiles for every month, one a year. I will be done when I am in my 50s!
you can make them like the sliding tile games.. and modify it for each month.. a fun game AND useful information. I'll make the wooden holders ;)
You said it, Greg, all I need are 12 month tiles and a bunch of little (whatevers) to mark holidays. I chose March because it had a lot of little thingies I could add.
Brilliant! Put me down for one, please. No, two. Mom would love it.
