OK, just above this, the final scene: my yard treeless. (below, the tree broken off halfway) I built a petite protective structure over the fence so it wouldn't get crunched, and OH MAN! The petite structure got crunched, but the fence is OK (this potter isn't so dumb). Whadda day.

I am not a fan of chain saws, but all limbs remain intact. I look forward to the day I sit with Gord and Greg and tell you about it!
i have two trees down at the cabin's driveway. gary, old buddy old pal, can you come up and take care of it. i'll make tea and let you win at foosball.
Did the neighbors at least 'help' in taking it down?

Goodness! That seems like it was a close call!!! And a big clean-up job. Hope somone can use all that wood! And thank heaven nobody got hurt!!!!
