(pots by Gary Rith)
Yesterday's pot bodies become today's pots. With handles and pigs, etc.
So, if you are making average and ordinary tankards and think about it for a minute, as you see in the bottom pics, you may decide to have fun and add ripples! and pigs!

Holy cow, you can churn these things out, Gary. I'd be all day trying to make one tankard.
How's the heat down your way?
I agree gordo.. after a day I would have a nice replica of .. ohh... the crater at Mt St Helens LOL
it's nice to see the forms before and after. heightens the appreciation!
ok.. that was me above.. oops
Thanks guys, and the heat is disgusting. It was still 93 last night until 9 o clock, when showers cooled things slightly, but it is a thick and nasty soup out there now.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: When in doubt, add pigs.
It was 101.6 here today at 2p.m. and that was on the North side of the house in the shade! I guess we're headed for some thunderstorms tho.
Nice things, Gary...very nice, indeed.
thanks, all, and I think I will add SUSAN'S comment to the rogue's gallery on the side of potsblog
