the potter 20 years ago at 20

Mona has introduced the topic of hair. I had some big hair in the 80s. My type is fuzzy, therefore the natural lift and upward trend. C'est moi, making pots in 1987.

I love the hair! Two thoughts:

1) "Beakman's World"

2) Robert Smith of The Cure

Did you comb it, or just finger-tease it? It looks finger-able....

Man, I miss Beakman! Boy #1 would love him.

I had a flattop in high school. :-)

My hair did whatever the hell it wanted to do. Still does. Just a bit shorter these days.

Is it OK to laugh? Really, really hard?

It gets worse! In front I had a long curl that hung down like Superman's (or a certain popstar) and in back a little rat tail growing down a few inches. Some sort of Cure or Til Tuesday look.

it certainly brings back fond memories.

you should grow it back like that again...just for the hell of it...and because it's really cold out and it'll help to keep you warm...and because you are one of the few who can! retro is in, u know. how cool would that be!

Denis and I BOTH had more hair back then.
Big D--it is esp. fluffy these days as I am too apathetic to do anything about it. It sticks up 4 inches straight if I let it.

Wow! It's a walkin' tree! Did you use one of those picks to kinda comb it?!

it ::sniff:: does its own thing, no picks needed.
