a break in the action



Labrador retrievers are nuts for cold and snow, even if their papa is a bit chilled. Yes, it is still piggy time.

Goldens love it too. If it didn't mean freezing toes, Sharkey would quiet happily romp around in the snow all day

I have never met a creature more indifferent to the cold than a retriever. Jack has gone swimming in every month of the year, even when there is 95 percent ice cover on a pond. Buster has taken naps on tops of snow piles. But yes, sometimes there is the icy paw thing, which might be more common with dogs that have furrier toes, like goldens.
