health returns, hard work completed

Time for more unicorns, moose, many many things. Just north of us a few miles they are getting dumped on by snows. Here it is cold and.........SUNNY!
Do you know Lily Allen? Here is her 'Smile', kind of a cockney/reggae/ska video. GORDO, CM, CELESTE, ALAN, SEAN, DENIS, MONA, MAGGIE ALL OF YOU: CHECK THIS OUT! Most entertaining.
Great dream: imagine a sophmoric foodfight wherein I and my schoolpals got into wheelchairs, raided the cafeteria of a few cases of burritos--sloppy, tomatoey, beany WET burritos, and had a schoolwide burrito fight, in wheelchairs.

I've heard of her, but never heard her.

One of the lessons I learned in high school was chocolate pudding flung from a plastic spoon makes a very satisfying splat when it reaches its intended target.

not sure if I like the music or I'm just in love. either way, it's all good. I think this is my next music purchase. I'm a rocker normally but this is what I liked about UB40 way back when. just feels good.

I know br, strangely compelling and catchy too! She has this really cheerful way of singing about disaster, murder and mayhem.

Gary, My first visit here, Very nice. I also loved your pottery. Will be back later, I have to have my wife look at some fo your work to see if she want to pick some things up.

Sorry that was a bit offtopic!

Thanks Sanjay.
This blog does not have any off-topics, as long as it is all g-rated, and the SILLIER THE BETTER.

Excellent music pick, Gary. Very cute and very dangerous.

The world certainly needs more bands with horn sections ... :-D

Hey gary, thanks for checking on me. I'm ok - just busy with crazy crazy two year olds who have discovered new ways to make a mom insane! :-) Posted up my poetry for the day finally.

I really liked this girls music. It has a nice irony to it, and I'm always up for irony.

I don't know whats happing to me now. I've checked out like 4 more vids of Lily's stuff. This is definitely not my musical comfort zone but I'm sitting here humming "alfie". Perhaps tomorrow could be Rage Against the Machine day? Equally dark but the music is more obviously so. No, I guess that wouldn't meet with this blogs 'g-rating' requirment. Hmmm, need some clean hard rock for balance. Zep maybe?

oh and by the way gary, the society meets at 4:26. Not enough time for you to clear customs I suspect.

br, there is something very unusual and catchy here, for a pop tune. I cleanse the palatte, per usual, with a healthy dose of Linkin Park and Godsmack, but sure, Zep or rage Against the Machine would work.
Dangit, if there was 3 hours of driving through massive snowdrifts, I could have made it to the KSPC.
