Be Grumpy

(relief plaques by Gary Rith)
Frequent readers know that I will make cute little dancing bunnies exhorting you to: be joyful, be loving, or even just relax.
Recently I was enjoying a good grumpy mood, and had a light bulb moment. "Be Grumpy" and I have made these toothy monsters, and a dog, most successfully. The usual scroll of 'be joyful' will be there as usual, but the cartoon talk bubble will be over the joyful part with 'grumpy' on it.
It is perhaps a breakthrough, making grumpy little monsters rather than the usual dancing and smiling pigs or bunnies and such. For some reason, it seems that extra grumpy can be just as charming as extra cheerful.

Perfect! I'm in a worse-class crappy mood this morning. Kids and their colds ...

I think it's always good to try and be happy.......to enjoy the time you have ( I dont mean that in a morbid way). I think we spend too much time feeling sorry for ourselves because something didn't go are way, worry about things that we can't do anything about.

It is also ok to be grumpy, but being happy is much more fun!

I think the effect, HP, is to laugh and be cherful because 'be grumpy' is an absurd piece of advice.

I love it. I am much more likely to hang a "be grumpy" plaque because it would bring a little smirk to my face. Great idea.

a smirk! yes!
I just made an angry looking monster with an empty coffee cup plaque and he will say "No coffee?!?"
My mood depends entirely on my caffeine intake, I think. Whee!
