Pink Martini

The occasional squeak of brakes and the ever growing roar of the exhaust system has become a constant loud scrape of the brakes and a roaring muffler. Scary, oh yes! I do not want to find myself going off a cliff, brake less, exploring gravity, therefore the subaru goes to the shop today along with my wallet. Although I could hope for stellar sales this weekend at Ithaca fest to pay for this, the weather report is not very good. But luckily I will be in my booth outside two very popular bars, so maybe some drunks will do some shopping.
Pink Martini, 'Hey Eugene' for tunes o' the day.

Good luck with the car. And thanks for the song. Love it!

Oh, the car will be fine I am sure, but my wallet will be thin and sickly.
Predictably harrowing drive over to the garage just now...

I hate taking a vehicle to the garage. Vehicular mechanics are mysterious enough that the mechanic could tell me that the whatzit connecting the whoozits is shot and I'll happily to take out a mortgage to pay for it. It might as well be voodoo.

Perhaps you should sell beer steins at that specific location. Who wants a plastic beer cup when you can hold a big goblet or mug and pretend to be a medieval lord?

I'm with Susan. I think tiki beer steins would be very popular in that location.

Sell the mugs FULL OF BEER! That would work!

These two bars couldn't be more different: Lost Dog is new and trendy and arty and intellectualish, Chanticleer is old and yucky and disreputable. And me in the middle.

Nice song, Gary.

You never know with bar thing. Sometimes the arty and intellectual can be somewhat disreputable too. :)

The first new car I ever bought was a Subaru. The first year they came to the States. I think it was 1971 or 1972. Right around there anyway. Great little car, and they still are.

This is our second Subaro: brakes and mufflers happen....
