blue and blue!

(pots by Gary Rith)

I once had a potter friend who said 'I don't want to be just another potter making blue mugs'. Well, even if many potters make blue pots, why is that bad, and why do they have to look like anybody else's blue pots? I love blue mugs and pots.

Blue is good. Blue is cool. Most potters over here seem to go for wood-ash black. I prefer blue.

No one should be posting at that ungodly hour of the morning unless it's still the night before.

Blue in all its shades is probably the nicest color of them all. My opinion only. But I do love it. And, of course, it brings out my lovely blue eyes! And every last one of those bowls is really unique and beautiful.

Blue is the most popular "favorite color" of humans. I read that in a book. So it must be true.

It's not my favorite color, though. I don't really have a favorite color, but if I had one? It'd probably be magenta.

I have never seen magenta pottery. And anyway I bet it wouldn't sell very well...

Anyone but me getting just a large, square blue blank, where there used to be pottery up above? All the images seem to have vanished.
