(top-before, bottom after)
With perhaps hundreds of visitors this weekend (ho ho ho! ) I have been instructed by the business manager, the missus, to clean the studio. It does look terribly messy. I kinda moved in a year and a half ago and dumped stuff on shelves and let the dust gather. Well, why did I move some of this junk?
So, nothing wrong with sorting stuff, throwing some away, organizing the rest and labeling it. Old dog collars? Third box from the top on the right. Nails and wires and stuffed Snoopies and gift wrap? Bottom shelf. Didn't say it was well organized, just tidier.

Tidy...is good enough, Gary. :)
You put Snoopy in a box?!
We have a bunch of stuffed holiday Snoopies. So many that they need one box for varied holidays (Halloween, Easter, Valentine's) and a whole seperate box for the Christmas Snoopies.
Gawd, tidy is good enough? I wish cleaning was easier--I like things clean, but would rather do other things.
You and me both, buddy. I lose interest in cleaning very quickly ...
Are you being part of a studio tour gary? (hundred's of visitors?)
yep, next two weekends, open studio tour
You should learn to be more artistic in the messiness. While it's a heck of a bunch more orderly, it's not any prettier or more 'artistic'. What you really need is a closet or closed off space of some sort. Boxes of stuff are just too plebeian for an artist's workshop. Not even worth a second glance. But pats on the back for the effort, Gary!
ugh, this is taking forever...
Welcome to my world! My life is one big box, with piles of stuff to sort and pack everywhere! UGH.
