I have a planter that has a celadon green crackle glaze that only goes 2/3 of the way down, and the bottom portion has been left completely natural. I love that planter. <BR/><BR/>And YES---do that historical perspective thing---VERY fascinating---would love to see it! I just love old pottery---especially if it looks like it's been "dug up." My mother used to say, "Susan loves stuff that loos dug up."
